He flawlessly nails the high notes of the chorus, a feat in which most people wish they could do without sounding like a prepubescent child, and interprets Adele’s lyrics into a more modern pop sound.
I cannot forget to mention the fact that he brings Anth, a rapper and close friend of his, for an amazing verse which is nothing short of phenomenal. The lyrics in this additional verse bring back emotional recollections you did not even know you had. Not to mention that the ending of this verse is powerful enough to hit a sociopath right in the feels with the lyrics “You don’t even need a gun. You don’t even need a pill. If you ever want to die, fall in love and you’ll get killed.”
